Biddybud: Difference between revisions

'''Biddybuds''' are common [[List of enemies|enemies]] first appearing in ''[[Super Mario 3D Land]]''. They resemble multicolored ladybugs and appear in red, yellow, blue, green, and pink. In the platforming games, Biddybuds simply walk along the ground on a set path, though unlike the [[Goomba]]s in the game, they do not chase the player when they are in sight. They make alternating high- and low-pitched sounds that can be heard if the player is near them. These sounds are typically to the rhythm of the song that is playing in the level.

Three Biddybuds can be seen briefly walking by towards the beginning of ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Movie]]''. They appear upon [[Mario]]'s first meeting with [[Toad]], causing a concerned and frightened Mario to jog away from them and follow Toad. They are featured in promotional posters for the film, including Mario's standalone poster.
