The '''Standard MR''' is [[Mario]]'s standard [[kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]''. It features a red frame to match Mario’s shirt as well the "M" [[emblem]] on his [[Mario Cap|cap]], unless the player changes the emblem. Its stats are average all-around, with all of its stats staying in the same range. Its highest stat is Acceleration (the same Acceleration as the [[Standard LG]] and [[Standard PC]] and equal to the [[4-Wheel Cradle]]), while its lowest stat is Handling (the same Handling as the [[Standard WL]]). Meanwhile, its Speed, Weight, Drift and Items are all-around average.
