My name is '''Ray Trace''', formerly known as '''Baby Luigi''' and '''BabyLuigiOnFire''' on this wiki, and formerly an administrator. and I was promoted to [[MarioWiki:Patrollers|Patroller]] on November 24, 2020 and [[MarioWiki:Administrators|Administrator]] on November 28, 2021. I've been around since September 2009, so I was active for quite a while and I'm highly experienced with wiki editing in general, being briefly autopatrolled before it was retooled and having some active parts in other facets of the community such as writing for The 'Shroom and formerly being part of the Poll Committee. I'm named after one of my OCs designed after [[Baby Luigi]], one of The Protectors, who is himself named after [[Wikipedia:Ray tracing (graphics)|ray tracing]], an advanced rendering technique for 3D imagery. The Protectors are basically variants of Baby Luigi, you can see images of them throughout this page and on my other profiles.

Most of my experience lies on 3D modeling and modding a large variety of games: the latter point helps a lot in obtaining data for games, such as models and graphics. If you need help with anything, be it mods or even how to render a model or how I get my data from, feel free to drop by my talk page: even if I'm not actively editing, I'm always on the wiki daily, checking up on it and occasionally skimming through Recent Changes.
