- Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition (pictured) was announced for the Nintendo Switch and is set to be released on July 18, 2024.
- On May 7, 2024, Nintendo announced that the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be unveiled by the end of March 2025, in addition to a Nintendo Direct presentation set for June 2024 revealing information on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the second half of 2024.
- The opening of the Donkey Kong Country theme park area at Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan has been delayed from the spring of 2024 to late 2024.
- The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024 was held on April 14, 2024. Player "Purple", who represented Japan, won the competition and was declared the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe world champion.
