Director’s Notes

Merry Christmas! Welcome to the final edition of Pipe Plaza for this year. Community Report wasn’t sent in so it’s not here. Also, please welcome back Paper Yoshi (talk), whilst he’s not returning full time he is here for a guest section which you will hopefully enjoy.

If you wish to join Pipe Plaza, look over here, pick a section you think you could do, so long as someone doesn’t already write for it, and PM me here.

Section of the Month

We had a turnout of only one vote last month, and that voter was me… Please remember to vote for your favourite sections. Anyway, the winner last month was FunkyK38 (talk) with Tip of the Month.

Monthly Report

Well, hello there, everyone!! No, you're not seeing things, and yes, I am indeed back to the paper (at least for this issue)! For those who don't know me, I'm Paper Yoshi (talk), former Pipe Plaza Co-Director and former writer of many 'Shroom sections, including this one. The 'Shroom has a special place in my heart, and thus I wanted to write at least one section for its Special Holiday Issue, so that's why I'm here!

Without further ado, let's check the current wiki statistics and see how they stack up against the ones from my last Monthly Report, written back in August for Issue LXXXIX.

(Credit goes to Stooben Rooben (talk) and Super Mario Bros. (talk) for the table coding. Stooben originally created it when writing this section back in Issues XXIII, XXV and XXVI, and SMB based his coding for Issues XXXIX, XL and XLI – which I am using in this issue – off of Stooben's coding.)

When saving official images to be used for articles (your own personal images don't have to be exactly these rules), make sure the image has a translucent background and is saved in PNG format. PNG tends to look clearer than JPG, and any format that looks better is the one you want to use!
