Bluey the Walrus is a large, blue walrus who lives on Timber's Island in Diddy Kong Racing and its Nintendo DS remake. He also wears a tuxedo piece on his neck, although not in the remake. Bluey, like the other guardians of Timber's Island, is not inherently a villain, but was hypnotized by Wizpig prior to the game's events and given a piece of the Wizpig amulet to guard.
During the game's events, the player can challenge Bluey in his own course of Snowflake Mountain after winning every race in said world. If the player wins, Bluey gives them a new challenge of partaking in Snowflake Mountain's Silver Coin challenges, or Balloon Touch Challenge in the remake. After the player completes them, Bluey challenges them to another race, where Bluey is faster than before. After Bluey is beaten for the second time, he is freed from Wizpig's control and gives players a piece of the Wizpig amulet. Much later, Bluey appears in the ending victory celebration next to T.T. in front of the cave leading to Snowflake Mountain.
