So, if this comprises both NES Remixes, the article should have all the challenges from both games? YoshiCGicon.pngTSUNAMIArtwork of Plessie with the four playable characters, from Super Mario 3D World.

Maybe, but I honestly don't know... User:Whitey (talk / edits)

The wiki covers NES Remix series as a guest appearance, and we have a policy against making pages for X-in-one releases. Spectrogram (talk) 10:14, April 18, 2023 (EDT)

I guess it's borderline? We have a page on Ultimate NES Remix, which is also just a compilation game of both NES Remix games, but not complete like this one. I can see this page staying or getting removed honestly. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 22:06, April 19, 2023 (EDT)
Ultimate NES Remix is more of a mix-up of select minigames, and it also includes Speed Mario Bros. This one is just a two-in-one package Spectrogram (talk) 01:02, April 20, 2023 (EDT)
I think Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move + Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! is very similar too.--Platform (talk) 12:12, April 21, 2023 (EDT)
At the very least it's a Mario game. Spectrogram (talk) 14:20, April 21, 2023 (EDT)
I think the Mario-related content is significant enough to warrant this page staying (Mario-related content makes up about 50% of the content in the two games combined.) Plus, with the Wii U eShop closing, this collection is the only way to buy these games, raising its significance further. Whitey (talk) 20:28, August 30, 2023 (EDT)

Old, but I agree this page should stay. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 09:07, May 23, 2024 (EDT)

I think this should be merged to NES Remix (series). Super Mario RPG (talk) 09:17, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
Then should we merge Ultimate NES Remix to NES Remix (series) too? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 09:20, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
I think it has more grounds for staying, since it specifically chooses which parts of the first two NES Remix games are retained, whilst NES Remix Pack is just literally a compilation of the first two. Super Mario RPG (talk) 09:23, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
Then shouldn't we get rid of Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move + Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 09:24, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
The difference is that's an actual Super Mario game, rather than a game with some Super Mario content within it. Super Mario RPG (talk) 09:25, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
Then why not just cover all NES Remix games in the series page? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 09:26, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
NES Remix games are guest appearances. According to MarioWiki:Coverage, guest appearance titles need a separate page. Axis (talk) 13:10, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
So is this, hence its page. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 15:46, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
It's a pack deal of guest appearance titles. Axis (talk) 23:46, May 23, 2024 (EDT)
Ok? If this gets removed, shouldn't we remove Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move + Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! or Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr./Mario Bros. on the basis of being "X-in-1" releases? New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 09:19, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
It's a pack deal of guest appearance titles. Axis (talk) 10:35, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
Here. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 10:38, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
I don't see how this policy is relevant to your point. If anything, it supports my argument more. Axis (talk) 14:26, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
Well, it's "package deals", and it doesn't say anything about guest appearences, just between unrelated stuff, which is relevant to my point. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 14:44, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
I'd argue guest appearance titles are unrelated, because the game itself isn't a Mario game. If a game called Nintendo Land + Nintendo Badge Arcade existed, it wouldn't have been covered here, because the games are guest appearance titles. Axis (talk) 14:53, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
But if guest appearances are "unrelated", then why cover them at all? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 14:58, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
I don't think you understand my point. Guest appearance titles are covered from the perspective of the Mario series, and not much else. They are "unrelated" in a sense that package deals of them shouldn't be worthy of coverage on this wiki, because the games themselves aren't Mario games. I wouldn't have an issue with it if this was either NES Remix series wiki, or if the series had full coverage on this wiki (I don't think it should have full coverage btw) Axis (talk) 15:07, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
We only cover the Mario aspects of NES Remix, but seriously, why do you keep bringing up the "package deal of guest appearances" argument SO MANY DARN TIMES even though Ultimate NES Remix is TECHNICALLY like NES Remix Pack, and I could go on, but I don't want to because I don't want to bore you. SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 15:14, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
As I've said above, I do not believe that guest appearance package deals should be covered on this wiki. This is why I keep bringing it up. Axis (talk) 07:02, May 25, 2024 (EDT)
But so is Ultimate NES Remix, even if it does a "pick and choose". SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 14:51, May 27, 2024 (EDT)
