Weird Wheels is a 1-vs.-Rivals minigame featured in Mario Party 9.

IntroductionEdit

The vehicles approach the starting line, and the camera zooms out slightly.

GameplayEdit

Players must move vehicles whose wheels are not round: square wheels for the solo player's vehicle, and triangular wheels for the rivals' vehicle. The solo player moves their vehicle by pressing   buttons in the exact order shown onscreen. The rivals move their vehicle by pressing   or   one by one. If the solo player presses a wrong button, they must start another combination. If a rival presses a wrong button, they must simply try again. A total of five combinations must be done to reach the goal. The first side to reach the goal wins. It is possible to end in a tie where everyone celebrates by having both teams reach the end at the same time.
