New article / image uploads

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Nintendo Direct). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article: Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can. Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style. Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article. Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

Hello, SMBros. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

A full list of licenses can be found in the file copyright tags category, but the following are the most common: {{game-screenshot}} - Used for game screenshots. {{game-sprite}} - Used for game sprites. {{game-3Drender}} - Used for game models. {{game-cover}} - Used for game box art. {{character-artwork}} - Used for artwork of a character. {{game-logo}} - Used for a game's logo. {{logo}} - Used for other logos. {{photo}} - Used for photographs of real-life subjects. {{art}} - Used for artwork of something that is not a character. {{comic-scene}} - Used for scans of a comic. {{comic-cover}} - Used for covers of comic books. {{tv-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of television shows. {{film-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of movies. {{video-screenshot}} - Used for other screenshots, such as those from YouTube. {{dvd-cover}} - Used for box art of DVDs. {{vhs-cover}} - Used for box art of VHSes. {{album-cover}} - Used for box art of music albums. {{poster}} - Used for promotional posters. {{music-sample}} - Used for music files. {{sound-clip}} - Used for sound effects. {{video-clip}} - Used for video files. When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. Hello, SMBros! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.

The new article is an improvement, and the images are a good addition. However, while using another article as a template is fine, please don't copy and paste directly from another article while the info you're copying still refers to the old game/article (there were still references to the "comedic tutorials" which don't apply to the new game, and to microgames with "italic font" and a "list of forms" when you haven't added a list yet).
