The Mario Kart 8 promotion tour was a Mario Kart 8 competition organized in 2014 by Gameland Events in collaboration with Nintendo as well as electronics retailers Game Mania and Fnac. It was sponsored by PROG4MER.[1] The competition consisted of eight qualifiers, held in various locations across Belgium, and a series of final rounds, which occurred at the Gameland 2014 event in Lichtaart.[1] The top player of each qualifier advanced to the finals.[1]
