Template:Character-infobox Gooma is Goombario and Goombaria's kind grandmother in the game Paper Mario. Her name is a portmanteau of "Goomba" and "grandma", something she actually notes upon first meeting Mario. Mario only needs to talk to her once throughout his entire adventure. She, along with the rest of the Goomba family, lives in Goomba Village.

Gooma writes a letter to Goombario during the party's adventure, which the player can read at the Post Office in Toad Town.
