File categories

Hello, Ultimatemario12. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Please keep in mind that files need to be categorised according to what game they came from, as explained above (so for a music file from Touched!, you'd type [[Category:WarioWare: Touched! media files]] in the description). Music files should also receive the {{sound-clip}} license. I suggest using Special:Upload to upload like you did with the stylus image as it's easier to just select the license from the drop-down menu (though just FYI, we already have that image: File:Stylus.jpg, so it's been deleted).

Regarding the microgame edits, you don't need to say "if the objective is done, the player wins" when it's already clear that it's the objective, and that "the player loses when time runs out" as it already applies to every microgame (unless otherwise stated, like Fan Fair). If you see an edit you made was removed or changed, it's a good idea to check the article's history page first (the "history" tab at the top of the article) before adding it back in, since a reason may have been left for the edit.

Also, try to avoid publishing edits that you're not sure will work properly, as this floods the recent changes and history pages with unnecessary edits.
