Super Mario Cereal is a Super Mario-themed mixed berry- and marshmallow-flavored breakfast cereal produced by Kellogg's. It was first released on December 11, 2017.[1] It was created to promote the release of Super Mario Odyssey, and it was sold at select retailers such as Walmart, Albertsons, and Safeway. The box is an amiibo accessory, as the back has an NFC tag compatible with Super Mario Odyssey, although this feature was removed in early 2018.[2] The marshmallows were featured in the shape of either a Mushroom, a 1-Up Mushroom, or a ? Block.
