Twilight Towners were found in [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]. They resided in [[Twilight Town]], and resembled dolls. In fact, you can see fluff sticking out of [[Mayor Dour]]'s head. These Twilight Towners were attacked by [[Doopliss]], turning into pigs every time the [[Creepy Steeple]] bell would ring. Of course, [[Mario]] and company went to stop the evil [[Duplighost]], only to have Mario's identity stolen and Doopliss getting all the credit while Mario was tossed aside. [[Vivian]] of the [[Shadow sirens]] joined Mario to defeat Doopliss, but when she found his true identity she ran away, only to return to Mario's side and defeat the duplighost.
