The '''Autumn Tour''' was the eighty-second tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on November 2, 2022 and ended on November 15, 2022. It was rerun from November 1, 2023 to November 14, 2023 as the game's hundred-and-eighth tour, and will be rerun again from October 30, 2024 to November 12, 2024 as the hundred-and-thirty-forth tour.

Much like the [[2nd Anniversary Tour|2nd Anniversary]], [[Metropolitan Tour|Metropolitan]], and [[Anniversary Tour (2022)|2022 Anniversary]] Tours, the tour only featured city courses (with the exception of the [[DS Twilight House]] battle course), namely the three city courses that are set in North America, being [[Tour New York Minute|New York Minute]], [[Tour Vancouver Velocity|Vancouver Velocity]], and [[Tour Los Angeles Laps|Los Angeles Laps]], with a new variant of Vancouver Velocity (known as Vancouver Velocity 3) and a new battle course set in New York Minute (called New York Minute B) debuting in the tour. This was the first tour to feature the return of a New York Minute course after its debut tour, as all four variants of the course returned for the first time since their respective debut tours (the [[New York Tour]], [[Holiday Tour (2019)|2019 Holiday Tour]], [[1st Anniversary Tour]], and [[2nd Anniversary Tour]]). This tour also marked the longest gap between a course's debut and second appearance, with New York Minute's first appearance since the game's very first tour, the New York Tour. This was also the first tour to feature its debut trailer in the landscape orientation instead of portrait.

This was the second tour to include a track with one of the variants missing (with both the regular variant of New York Minute and the R variant of New York Minute 2 being missing), the first one being the 2022 Anniversary Tour three tours prior with the absence of [[Tour Tokyo Blur|Tokyo Blur T]]. To accommodate this, New York Minute R and New York Minute 2T repeat.

The Autumn Celebration event that started in the [[Battle Tour]] ended in this tour. This tour finished the second set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour|Autumn Challenges]] cards, which started in the [[Halloween Tour (2022)|previous tour]]. In addition, players could earn [[Yoshi (species)|Orange Yoshi]] and the [[Orange Turbo Yoshi]] as a reward for placing high in the ranked cup of the first half of the tour, and [[Yoshi (species)|Blue Yoshi]] and the [[Blue Turbo Yoshi]] for placing high in that of the second half. This tour was originally going to feature a new set of Kart Pro challenges, but it was ultimately canceled.<ref>@mariokarttourEN (October 20, 2022). With [[Pauline]] appearing on the All-Cup Ranking badges for players with total tour scores in the Top 10, 100, and 1000, this was the first tour to reuse ACR badges from a previous tour (these same badges were distributed after the 1st Anniversary Tour).

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was [[Tour New York Minute|New York Minute]], which was reused from the New York Tour. The menu's background featured the {{wp|Empire State Building}} as the landmark for this tour, which was reused from the 2019 Holiday Tour, the 1st Anniversary Tour, and the 2nd Anniversary Tour.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[Los Angeles Laps|Los Angeles Laps 2]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Yellow Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
