The entire event consists of three rounds. The player must swing the Wii Remote to the left to begin their swing. As the player swings the discus back, they must swing the Remote to the right at the last possible moment of the swing. The player must then tilt the Wii Remote to line up the angle of their throw, and afterward must swing the Wii Remote to the right again as soon as they are about to throw the discus to throw it.
