At the start of the event, the player can hold the blue button until told to release for bonus power. The player then mashes the blue and red buttons to charge up more power. The more power the player has charged up, the father the discus will fly. Before releasing the discus, the player has to time pressing the yellow center button to make the discus launch down the center of the field. After the discus is launched, the player has to continue mashing the blue, yellow, and red buttons to make the discus fly farther. Once this process is completed twice, the best attempt determines the player's final score. If the player's final score is better than all others, they win the event. If the player's final score is greater than the target score, the player clears the day and moves on to the next day.
