'''Dream Snowboard Cross''' is an event in  ''[[Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games]]''. Unlike regular snowboard events, this features items. This event takes place at night at Radical Highway, which is a stage from the ''Sonic Adventure 2''. Some parts of the stage are very similar to the original, while others were completely removed altogether to make it suitable for snowboarding. It is also impossible to fall off the course, even when grinding on the sides of the cable suspension bridge. The player can also collect rings, and when getting enough, pressing the ''A'' button will give the player a boost, just like in [[Dream Alpine]], [[Dream Ski Cross]] and [[Dream Short Track]].

Dream Snowboard Cross also appears in the DS Version referred as '''Extreme Snowboarding''' but it does not take place on Radical Highway. In the version, the Player must snowboard 2 laps round a track. Its obstacles are a [[Chain Chomp]] and some [[Egg Pawn]]s. When jumping off ramps, the control pad is used to perform tricks to fill up a bar on the bottom right of the top screen. Tricks cannot be performed unless {{button|ds|B}} is pressed at the edge of the jump. Pressing {{button|ds|Y}} uses the character's special dash and depletes the bar. A ghost can be used to steal some of the special dash time from other players in front.
 
==Trivia==
*In ''Sonic Adventure 2'', [[Shadow the Hedgehog|Shadow]] was the only character playable on Radical Highway. On the Event Select screen of ''Winter Games'', Shadow was the one shown in the small image of Dream Snowboard Cross.
