Summary[edit]
| File information for SMB3 Piranha Plant green up cave.png | |
| Info | |
| Description | A Piranha Plant in Super Mario Bros. 3, as seen in a cave stage. |
| Source | Self-ripped with help from prior rips (see this sheet). Note that technically, there is a second layer of leaves similar to the red type, though it is always covered up by the transparency mask used to show it leaving the pipe. I did not include this as it is not supposed to be seen, and instead gave equivalent negative space opposite the mouth to scale it better with the red type (an idea initially enacted by Nintendo101 (talk)). |

Licensing[edit]
Fair use sprite |
This is a pixel art sprite originally from a copyrighted computer or video game, and the copyright for it is most likely held by the company that developed the game. It is believed that the use of a limited number of web-resolution sprites for identification and critical commentary on the computer or video game in question or the copyrighted character(s) depicted by the sprite in question qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law, as such display does not significantly impede the right of the copyright holder to sell the copyrighted material, is not being used to turn a profit in this context, and presents ideas that cannot be exhibited otherwise. See Wikipedia:Copyrights and fair use rationale. |
