Fire Mountain is the third world of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its Nintendo Switch remake. This world features lava and various enemies like Ninjis, Lava Bubbles, and Fire Shy Guys.
Fire Mountain is the third world of the game Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The Fire Mountain is a world filled with lava, Ninjis, and Katakata Kaen Heihō.

There are notable changes to this world in the remake. In the GBA version, a brown coloration is used for the level select screen, but is colored red instead in the remake. Some of the levels' empty spaces are filled in, with some floating semisolid platforms integrated into the terrain instead. This world notably features different music in the remake as well, opting for a more mysterious sound as opposed to the more upbeat percussion and melodies in the original.

Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a bonus level that appears after completing enough levels in this world. The layout features several rows of sand blocks that the player can climb on to reach some 1-Up Mushrooms and the chest. There are springs and ropes present to help the player climb upwards if too many sand blocks crumble. To complete this level, the player must catch the flying key while jumping upwards through several sand blocks to reach the chest.
