The Ghost Castle is the back-right tower of Bowser's Castle on Yoshi's Island, and the third castle level in Yoshi's Story. It is infested with many Boos, including rare ones such as Blindfold Boos (which make their only appearance in this level), Boo Blocks, and Little Boos. Many chambers are dark and eerie, and some are even cavernous. Ghost Riders can help the Yoshis reach higher areas of the level. The hidden Heart Coin letter for this stage is E.
The Ghost Castle is level 6-3 in Yoshi's Story.

The Ghost Castle is actually the back-right tower of Bowser's Castle on Yoshi's Island. The level starts in a room with several Blindfold Boos, pits, and fruit encased in bubbles, along with a Block Boo and a ? Block containing five coins; collecting all five coins reveals a melon. The far right end of this room has the first Miss Warp and a door, which leads to a room with two Power Flowers, a Blindfold Boo, several Warp Pipes, two regular doors, and two locked doors. This room contains two ? Bubbles, one of which can be found in the top right corner of this room. Throwing a Yoshi's egg at this ? Bubble reveals the second Miss Warp.
The second ? Bubble in the room is above and to the right of the entrance door, which reveals a ? Switch when hit by a Yoshi's egg. Pressing the ? Switch causes Surprise Balls to appear temporarily, which can be used to reach the green Warp Pipe at the top of the room. This Warp Pipe leads to a room with a Power Flower and a flowerpot that starts Special Delivery, where the player must avoid Black Shy Guys carrying spiked stones.
The end of the Special Delivery room has a door leaving to a cavern with a Boo. A Baby Yoshi can sniff the ground to find a secret area in this cavern, then Ground Pound the area to obtain a melon. Traversing this cavern from right to left leads to a Warp Pipe that takes the player to the red Warp Pipe in the bottom right corner of the room with two Power Flowers.
The yellow Warp Pipe in the bottom left corner of the room leads to a cavern that contains a key and a Boo. The far left end of the cavern has another Warp Pipe that takes the player back to the first room in the level.
The door in the top left corner of the room leads to a room with the third Miss Warp, along with Ghost Riders and Block Boos, which can be used to reach the top of the room. A ? Block can be found in this room, which produces a melon if the player hits it rapidly enough. A secret area containing a melon can also be found in this room by sniffing and performing a Ground Pound. The top right corner of the room has the first Special Heart. A ? Bubble is also found just before the door leading out of the room; when hit with a Yoshi's egg, it reveals a second key. Leaving the room leads to a tall cavern, where the player can collect coins while falling to the bottom. The bottom of this cavern has another secret area containing a melon, as well as a Warp Pipe which takes the player back to the first room in the level.
The door in the top right corner of the room leads to a room with a swarm of Little Boos and Rock Blocks. The end of this room has a door leading to the cavern with a Boo and a secret area.
The locked door on the left side of the room leads to a dark, isolated room with the fourth Miss Warp, Boos, and Black Shy Guys carrying spiked stones. One section of the room features a row of five Rock Blocks; destroying the Rock Block in the center with a Yoshi's egg reveals the second Special Heart.
The locked door on the right side of the room leads to a room with Poochy standing on a Rock Block, along with many Block Boos and a ? Block and ? Bubble, each containing a melon. The only other Rock Block in this room is next to a row of spikes; performing a Ground Pound on this Rock Block reveals the third and final Special Heart.
