The '''Halloween Tour''' was the third tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on October 23, 2019 and ended on November 5, 2019. Reflecting the Halloween theme, [[DS Luigi's Mansion|Luigi's Mansion]] from ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'' returned, while [[Rosalina]] in a witch outfit and [[King Boo]] in his ''[[Luigi's Mansion 3]]'' appearance appeared as the spotlight characters. The tour also introduced a new bonus challenge, [[Time Trial (Mario Kart Tour)|Time Trial]]. It was the first tour to not introduce a new city course, and thus the first tour to consist purely of [[classic course]]s. The menu's background featured [[Luigi's Mansion (location)|Luigi's Mansion]] as the landmark for this tour. This was the final tour to feature 16 cups. It was also the last tour to debut three new courses, as all following tours would either introduce one new course, be a so-called "filler tour", or in rare cases debut two new courses.
