Kamek reappears in Super Mario Party, where he is a host alongside Toad and Toadette. He places Bad Luck Spaces and Extra Bad Luck Spaces on the board, which replace the Bowser Spaces, thus taking over Bowser's role of bringing bad luck to players that land on the Bad Luck Spaces. When interacting with Bowser and Bowser Jr., Kamek has unique dialogue such as when they land on a Bad Luck Space where he is apprehensive and apologetic unlike with the other player characters. The player can also talk to him in the Party Plaza, where he will get rid of the Piranha Plants blocking the pipes or change the time.
