The coconut's case is closed once more, and the Kongs state that they should have known better than to trust Klump in the first place. Donkey asks Dixie if she will be okay, and she tells him that she will be. The next day, in the forest, Dixie is still sad, but is excited when she hears a snapping noise; her pet lobster Thermidor has returned. She finds him in a container, with a note attached, saying "To Dixie. Thanks"; however, "thanks" was spelled "Thanx". She quickly figures out that it was Klump who did this, and leaves with Thermie. In a nearby bush, Klump overhears everything, and is crying to himself.

*"Haven't Got a Friend in the World"<br>(Sung by General Klump)
<blockquote>
Don't waste your time<br>Lookin' at a sorry sight like me<br>A quiverin' pile of mush, that's me<br>All my years of service and devotion to the king<br>I'm a quiverin', snivelin', non-existent thing
I know I've failed<br>I know my ship has sailed<br>Stripped of my rank<br>I know my ship has sank<br>And I haven't got a friend in the world
I'm a quiverin', snivelin', blubberin'<br>Nameless, non-existent mass of nothin'<br>Worthless, soggy pile of mush<br>And I haven't got a friend in the world<br>No...
I haven't got a friend in the world
</blockquote>
*"Is There Someone...?"<br>(Sung by Dixie Kong and General Klump)
<blockquote>
DIXIE:<br>
What did I do to make you leave me?<br>Why does everybody always leave me alone?<br>Now that everybody's gone<br>It's so hard to carry on<br>Is there someone I can truly call a friend?
It's such a crime to be deserted all the time<br>Shouldn't come as a surprise<br>I wish I'd seen it in their eyes<br>Is there someone I can truly call a friend?
KLUMP:<br>
I'm such a spineless, low-down, lyin', cheatin' friend...
</blockquote>
