This is a list of the 42 Power Moons (41 regular Power Moons and 1 Multi Moon) that can be found in the Lake Kingdom of Super Mario Odyssey.

3 | Cheep Cheep Crossing |
The player can find this Power Moon in a small alcove above the Underwater Entrance checkpoint. | Available from the start. |
4 | End of the Hidden Passage |
From the Courtyard, the player should look for a bouncy flower and use it to bounce to a higher ledge where a zipper is located. Mario should capture the zipper and use it to un-zip the wall, causing a secret path to be revealed, which leads to the Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
5 | What's in the Box? |
At the top of the Water Plaza, the player should look for a grassy ledge containing three crates - one of which is a shiny crate. If the player destroys the shiny crate, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
6 | On the Lakeshore |
On the sand near the Odyssey, the player can find a glowing spot. If Mario ground pounds this spot, he will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
7 | From the Broken Pillar |
Near the Water Plaza Entrance, the player can find a broken pillar submerged in the water. If the player ground pounds the top of the pillar's remains, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
8 | Treasure in the Spiky Waterway |
In the spiky tunnel near the start of the kingdom, the player will find a split road. Mario should lead down the right path to find a secret treasure chest, which will give the player a Power Moon once opened. | Available from the start. |
9 | Lake Gardening: Spiky Passage Seed |
At the start of the spiky tunnel near the beginning of the kingdom, the player can find a seed. Mario should take it and then plant it in a flower pot located at the Water Plaza Entrance. After planting it, the player must wait about 40 minutes for the seed to bloom, which will then cause a Power Moon to appear. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
10 | Lake Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 |
From the Underwater Entrance checkpoint, the player should head to the water's surface to find a platform with a scarecrow on it. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some blocks and a Power Moon at the bottom of the lake. The player must then plummet down the lake to collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
11 | Lake Kingdom Timer Challenge 2 |
At the Water Plaza Terrace, the player can find a scarecrow nearby. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some blocks and a Power Moon at their peak. The player must then backflip up the blocks to collect the Power Moon before it disappears. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
12 | Moon Shards in the Lake |
In the large lake (outside the Water Plaza), the player must locate and collect five Moon Shards, which will reward Mario with a Power Moon once collected. | Available from the start. |
13 | Taking Notes: Dive and Swim |
In the small body of water near the Odyssey, the player should look for a rainbow-colored treble clef. Mario should collect this treble clef, which will temporarily spawn some notes in the water. If the player can collect all the notes before they disappear, Mario will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
14 | Taking Notes: In the Cliffside |
From the Underwater Entrance checkpoint, the player should swim to the surface and locate an 8-bit Warp Pipe along the left wall. Mario must enter this Warp Pipe to find a rainbow-colored treble clef, which will spawn notes once collected. If the player can collect all of the notes before they disappear, Mario will receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
15 | Lake Fishing |
Near the Courtyard checkpoint, the player can find a fishing Lakitu. Mario should capture the Lakitu and use it to fish for a big Cheep Cheep in the small pool, which will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
16 | I Met a Lake Cheep Cheep! |
From the Underwater Entrance checkpoint, the player should capture a Cheep Cheep and then swim up to the water's surface, where a Lochlady can be found. Mario should head over to the Lochlady, who will fall in love with the Cheep Cheep and reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
17 | Our Secret Little Room |
At the Water Plaza Entrance, the player should enter the third alcove on the wall to find a secret door, where a hidden Lochlady can be found. Talking to her will reward Mario with a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
18 | Let's Go Swimming, Captain Toad! |
At the Water Plaza Entrance, the player can find a deep pit of water. To reach the bottom, Mario must capture a Cheep Cheep from the lake and use it to head to the bottom of the water hole. The player can also consecutively perform underwater ground pounds in the hole to reach the bottom where Captain Toad can be found. Talking to him will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
19 | Shopping in Lake Lamode |
The player can purchase a Power Moon from the Crazy Cap Shop for 100 yellow Coins. | Available from the start. |
20 | A Successful Repair Job |
Near the Water Plaza, the player can find a door leading to a secret area. Mario should enter this area and then solve the puzzle within to be rewarded with a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
21 | I Feel Underdressed |
Next to the Water Plaza Display Window, the player can find a locked door being blocked by a Lochlady. In order to enter this door, the player needs to wear either the Swimwear outfit with the Swim Goggles hat or the Boxer Shorts outfit with any hat. Once Mario enters the room, he needs to throw Cappy at the top of the dress pedestal in the center and hold him there for a few seconds. This will reveal a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
22 | Unzip the Chasm |
Near the Water Plaza Entrance, the player should look for a submerged zipper on the right wall. Mario must capture the zipper and use it to un-zip the wall, which will reveal a hidden door. The player must enter the door and then reach the end of the secret area within in order to receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
23 | Super-Secret Zipper |
In the secret area with the "Unzip the Chasm" Power Moon, the player should look for a hidden row of blocks near the start. This will lead Mario to a secret zipper, which (when up-zipped) will reveal another hidden zipper. Un-zipping this zipper will reveal a secret Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
24 | Jump, Grab, Cling, and Climb |
Near the Water Plaza Terrace, the player should look for a hidden door along the northern wall. Mario should enter this door and then reach the end of the secret area within to receive a Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
25 | Jump, Grab, and Climb Some More |
In the secret area with the "Jump, Grab, Cling, and Climb" Power Moon, the player should ride the top of the final moving block up to a hidden bouncy flower, which will launch Mario to a treasure chest, which contains a secret Power Moon. | Available from the start. |
26 | Secret Path to Lake Lamode! |
This Power Moon can be found on top of the Viewing Balcony. To reach it, the player must travel through a painting located in a different kingdom:

Near the Odyssey, the player can find a set of stairs leading up to the Courtyard. On the stairs, Mario should notice a picture of some dinosaur bones, with one bone missing. If the player then travels to that location (in the Cascade Kingdom) and ground pounds the spot where a dinosaur bone should be, Mario will receive a Power Moon. | Available after collecting the "Broodals Over the Lake" Multi Moon. |
28 | Taxi Flying Through Lake Lamode |
Near the Odyssey, the player can find a pair of Binoculars. Mario must use the Binoculars and look for a flying taxi in the air over the lake. If the player can stare at the taxi for a few seconds, they will receive a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
29 | That Trendy "Pirate" Look |
At the top of the Water Plaza, the player can find the three Style Sisters. If Mario talks to the center sister while wearing the Pirate Hat and Pirate Outfit (available at the yellow Crazy Cap Shop), she will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
30 | Space Is "In" Right Now |
At the top of the Water Plaza, the player can find the three Style Sisters. If Mario talks to the left sister while wearing the Space Helmet and Spacesuit (available at the purple Crazy Cap Shop in the Moon Kingdom) or the Satellaview Helmet and Satellaview Suit, she will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
31 | That "Old West" Style |
At the top of the Water Plaza, the player can find the three Style Sisters. If Mario talks to the right sister while wearing the Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Outfit (available at the purple Crazy Cap Shop in the Sand Kingdom), she will reward the player with a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
32 | Lake Kingdom Regular Cup |
At the start of the kingdom, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom. |
33 | Peach in the Lake Kingdom |
Princess Peach and Tiara are on the Water Plaza Terrace where Mario fought Rango earlier. Peach will offer Mario a Power Moon upon speaking to her. | Available after talking to the Toad outside Peach's Castle (Mushroom Kingdom). |
34 | Behind the Floodgate |
North of the Odyssey, Mario can unzip the upper level of the floodgate and drop down to the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |

Along the cliff southeast of the main Water Plaza, there is a Hat Trampoline Mario can jump off of to grab the Power Moon floating above the water. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
36 | Deep, Deep Down |
Mario must capture a Cheep Cheep and dive into the incredibly deep underwater chamber at the Water Plaza Entrance. The Power Moon is right across from Captain Toad's campsite. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
37 | Rooftop of the Water Plaza |
Mario must ground pound the platform on the northeast column of the Water Plaza rooftop to reveal the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
38 | Bird Traveling Over the Lake |
The bird can initially found on the west broken column west of the floodgate north of the Odyssey. When off its usual perch, it flies around the eastern portion of the region. Catching the bird reveals the Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
39 | Love by the Lake |
In this kingdom, Goombette is found right behind the Odyssey. Mario must capture a Goomba in the courtyard and go to her location so she can give Mario the Power Moon. This moon is somewhat tricky, as Mario must jump over water deep enough for him to lose his captured Goomba. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
40 | Lake Kingdom Master Cup |
At the start of the kingdom, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock and collecting the "Lake Kingdom Regular Cup" Power Moon. |
41 | Waves of Poison: Hoppin' Over |
To the right of the Odyssey, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area Mario must capture a frog and jump across several platforms of different sizes while avoiding waves of poison. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
42 | Waves of Poison: Hop to It! |
In the area with the "Waves of Poison: Hoppin' Over" Power Moon, the player should see a few platforms to the left of where the aforementioned Power Moon is located. Mario must jump across these platforms while avoiding the waves of poison to reach a key at the last left platform and then jump back to the large platform where the Power Moon will be unlocked. | Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock. |
