===Special effects details===
*'''After Mario''' - Luigi will take his turn immediately after Mario regardless of his or enemies' SPEED stat.
*'''Auto Guard''' - Automatically activates emergency guard right before enemies hit the wearer.
*'''Barrier Guard''' - Completely negates the first few instances of damage against the wearer in a battle. Bat Wear and Stone Slacks block 3 hits, Ancient Pants block 5 hits.
*'''Before Mario''' - Luigi will take his turn immediately before Mario regardless of his or enemies' SPEED stat.
*'''DEF-Up''' - Gain  +50% base DEF until the end of the wearer's third turn.
*'''Emergency DEF''' - Gain +100% base DEF while affected by a status ailment.
*'''Emergency Guard''' - Further reduces damage blocked while using emergency guard (from ~30% reduction to ~60%?).
*'''Guard Guardian''' - "''Lessens damage after failed defensive actions.''" Appears to be bugged and not have any effect.
*'''Heavy G''' - Permanently affected by the Heavy G status ailment, causing defensive jumps to be delayed and have less air time.
*'''HP-Auto Gain''' - Recover HP at the start of the wearer's turn. +5HP/turn with Blue Jeans, +10HP/turn with B. Brand Jeans and Wool Trousers.
*'''Light G''' - Permanently affected by the Light G status ailment, causing defensive jumps to be delayed and have more air time.
*'''Lucky Critical''' - Gain additional damage on critical hits and lucky hits. The damage bonus is equal to 50% of the total damage the wearer's critical or lucky hit would do with only the wearer's base POW stat. This boosts their damage multipliers from the typical 1.30x to a maximum of 1.95x if the wearer has  no POW bonuses, or between 1.30x and 1.95x if the wearer have POW increasing effects like badges.
*'''Lucky Mushroom''' - "''Your luck equals your Mushroom count.''" It is unclear if only basic mushrooms are counted, but the effect appears to be minimal.
*'''Mushroom Recover''' - Mushrooms will now also cure status ailments.
*'''One-Turn Recover''' - Recover from status ailments at the start of your turn. Poison will damage the wearer one time before being cleansed.
*'''Poison Dodge''' - Immune to the poison status ailment.
*'''POW-Up Risky''' - Gain +100% base POW, DEF, SPD, and STA during battle, but the wearer start battles with 50% of the wearer's max HP if his HP was higher than that value beforehand. The max HP is unaffected, so the wearer can still heal to full health.
*'''Random G''' - Permanently affected by the Light G or Heavy G status ailment.
*'''SPEED Up Badgeless''' - Gain +100% base SPD while the wearer has no badge equipped.
*'''Speedy Guard''' - Reduces damage against enemies slower than the wearer. Oho Jee Wear and Oho Gear seem to either add 30 - 40 DEF or reduce damage by 20% - 25%, but it is unclear. Muddy Jeans appears to not reduce or block any damage.
*'''Sweet Revenge''' - Gain +50% base POW, DEF, SPD, STA while the other bro has 0 HP.
*'''Win Mushroom''' - Has a chance for coins to be replaced with a basic mushroom.

===Special effects details===
*'''Bean Collector''' - Has a chance for coins to be replaced with a bean.
*'''BP-Auto Gain''' - Recover BP at the start of the wearer's turn. +2BP/turn with Bubbles Badge, +3BP/turn with Bros. Badge and Wonder Badge, and 5BP/turn with Sarge Badge.

*'''BP-Recover Excellent''' - Recover 100% of BP used for a Bros. Attack if the wearer get an Excellent rating.

This only applies to the very first attack of the faster brother and only if he strikes before any enemies do. Does not affect battle initiation attacks.
*'''Heavy Jump''' - Gain +50% base POW on jump attacks while the wearer has the Heavy G status.
*'''HP-Up Hammer''' - Heal for a portion of the damage dealt with Excellent solo hammer attacks. 10% healing with Piranha Swing and 15% with Sledge Heart.
*'''HP-Up Hand''' - Heal for 10% of the damage dealt with Excellent solo hand attacks.
*'''HP-Up Jump''' - Heal for a portion of the damage dealt with Excellent solo jump attacks. 5% healing with Queen's Token, 10% with Miracle Badge, and 20% with Bros. Rock.
*'''Item Grab''' - Increases the chance of item drops.
*'''Light G SPEED Boost''' - Gain +100% base SPD while the wearer has the Light G status.
*'''Lucky Attack''' - Seems to double lucky hit rate.
*'''Lucky Speedster''' - Higher speed ups lucky hit rate. The effect seems unnoticeable even at very high speed values.
*'''POW-Up''' - Gain +50% base POW until the end of the wearer's fourth turn.
*'''POW-Up Squad''' - Increases base POW for the rest of the fight every time the wearer defeats an enemy: 5% POW with Bwaha Badge, ??% with Elite Chuck Guy Badge, and 10% with Bullet Bill Badge.
*'''Power-D''' - Seems to give +75% counterattack damage (scales with total dmg, including POW bonuses).
*'''Shroom Force''' - Gain POW per mushroom the player has: regular - 0.08, Super - 0.10, Ultra - 0.12 , Max - 0.20. The max achievable POW bonus is 49.

===Special effects details===
*'''All Excellent''' - Multiplies the damage of the wearer's solo and Bros. Attacks by 1.31x. However, the wearer is dealt 10% of the damage he deals if he does not get an Excellent rating.
*'''Block Hunter''' - Invisible blocks get a dotted outline instead of an occasional shine over them.
*'''Critical Stat Change''' - Deal critical hits (1.3x damage) against dizzy, burnt, and charred enemies. This applies to solo attacks and the wearer's attacks within Bros. Attacks. Enemies that are resistant to certain types of attacks, like hammer attacks, will no longer be resistant and will instead be dealt the normal 1.3x critical damage.
*'''Damage Up''' - Doubles the damage the wearer deals and takes.
*'''Double STACHE''' - Doubles the wearer's STA stat, increasing the chance of lucky hits, reducing shop prices, and increasing the prices the wearer can sell items for.
*'''Extra Coins''' - Gain +25% extra coins from enemies defeated by the bro holding this item.
*'''Flawless Victory EXP Bonus''' - Gain +50% EXP from enemies defeated before either bro has taken damage. Works regardless of which bro has it equipped.
*'''Floaty Jump''' - Allows the wearer to float for a short time during his defensive jumps.
*'''Gravity Guard''' - While affected by Light G or Heavy G, seems to either reduce damage taken by about 30% or add +100% base DEF, but it is unclear.
*'''Hand Master''' - The player has a 100% chance to cause dizzy with Luigi's hand attack or burn with Mario's. Must get an Excellent rating.
*'''Item Fiend''' - Enemies defeated by the bro holding this item will guarantee a rare item drop. Some items can only be found in this way.
*'''Jump Master''' - Jump normally even when affected by Heavy G, Light G, or when a bro is on the wearer's shoulders.
*'''POW/SPEED Swap''' - Swaps POW and SPD stats (applies after gear and other buffs).
*'''Quick Win Bonus''' - Increased coin, EXP, and item rewards for enemies defeated by the bro holding this item. Enemies defeated by a battle initiation attack or defeated on the first turn will give +50% coins and EXP. Enemies defeated on the 2nd turn will give +30% coins and EXP, +10% on the 3rd turn, or +0% for all later turns.
