'''New York Minute 2''' is a race course in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It is named after and inspired by [[New York City]], New York set in nighttime. It made its debut as the featured course of the [[Holiday Tour (2019)|2019 Holiday Tour]] due to New York City's nature of hosting New Year's Eve in {{wp|Times Square}} every year. The course also appears as '''New York Minute 2R''' (reverse), '''New York Minute 2T''' (with ramps), and '''New York Minute 2R/T''' (reverse and with ramps). The course is a favorite of [[Pauline]] and [[Yoshi|Yoshi (Reindeer)]].
 
==Course layout==
In the standard layout, all of the racers start the course in front of {{wp|Times Square}}. Just after the starting line, the road bends in a sinusoidal curve to the left and then the right through {{wp|Broadway (Manhattan)|Broadway}} and ends in a cobblestone path that leads into {{wp|Central Park}}. In the park, the road takes a sharp turn to the right and circles back to the bordering road, where it takes an abrupt left. After a sharp right turn, the players reach a [[Glide Ramp]] while approaching the [[Empire State Building]]. After two sharp right turns, the players return to the starting line.

In the [[Holiday Tour (2019)|2019 Holiday Tour]], New York Minute 2 served as one of the tour's two signature courses, alongside [[3DS Rainbow Road]]. It appeared as the first course in the [[Yoshi Cup]], the second course in the [[Pauline Cup]], and the location of the bonus challenges in the [[Rosalina Cup]], the [[Baby Daisy Cup]], and the [[Baby Luigi Cup]]. Its T variant appeared as the third course in the [[Birdo Cup]] and the second course in the [[Wario Cup]], its R variant appeared as the first course in the [[Luigi Cup]] and the third course in the [[Dry Bones Cup]], and its R/T variant appeared as the second course in the [[Baby Rosalina Cup]] and the third course in the [[Dry Bowser Cup]].
