This parade differs greatly from the previous two. As the credits are shown at the end of the game, while images of the game are being shown, the characters walk by in silhouette. Among the characters that walk by are [[Luigi]], [[Goombella]], [[Professor Frankly]], [[Toadsworth]], [[Zess T.]], [[Merlon]], [[Merluvlee]], [[Merlee]], various enemies, Toads, and minor characters, [[Koops]], [[Koopie Koo]], [[Koopley]], [[Kroop]], [[Toadette]], [[Dupree]], [[Flurrie]], [[Punio]], [[Petuni]], the [[Puni elder]], [[Puniper]], Punies, a [[Jabbi]], [[Jabble]], [[Don Pianta]], [[Frankie]], [[Francesca]], either [[Tony (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Tony]], [[Vinny]] or [[Rocko]], [[Yoshi Kid|Yoshi]], [[Jolene]], [[Prince Mush]], [[Grubba]], [[Rawk Hawk]], [[Bowser]], [[Kammy Koopa]], [[Doopliss]], [[Beldam]], [[Marilyn]], [[Vivian]], [[Bobbery]], [[Flavio]], [[Pa-Patch]], [[Lord Crump]], [[Ms. Mowz]], [[Goldbob]], [[Sylvia (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Sylvia]], [[Bub]], [[Ratooey]], [[Heff T.]], [[Toadia]], the waitress, [[Zip Toad]], [[Chef Shimi]], the mayor of Fahr Outpost, [[General White]], and [[Grodus]]. [[Mario]] and [[Princess Peach]] are the last to appear.

In addition, during the pictures of the boss encounters, several bigger bosses or minibosses briefly appear onscreen (shadowed, like the others). These are [[Blooper]], [[Hooktail]], [[Magnus von Grapple]], [[Big Boo|Atomic Boo]], [[Cortez]], [[Smorg]], [[Magnus von Grapple 2.0]], and [[Shadow Queen]]. Shadow Queen appears around the same time as Mario and Peach.

=====Remake=====
In the [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|Nintendo Switch remake]], the parade is now based on a curtain call of a stage play, set within the battle stage with a movie theater screen above showcasing screenshots from the game while an audience of characters watch. Some of these screenshots have more than one partner, which is not possible in normal gameplay. [[Parakarry]] starts the parade off this time instead of Luigi (who is sitting in the audience instead). Once Parakarry flies off the stage, the curtains open showing the game's title logo and the credits start rolling. 

Goombella walks onstage shortly joined by Professor Frankly. A Rogueport Goomba, Little Mouser, Bandit and Doogan walk onstage next and run off as the Blooper appears squirting ink on the stage. Kroop and Koopley walk onstage and Koops and Koopie Koo dash into them in their shells. Ms. Mowz falls into the center and jumps off when a horde of Dull Bones arrive, along with two Paratroopas and a Red Bones, which all run off as Hooktail breathes fire at them.

A group of Punies and Jabbies arrive, among which include Punio, Petuni, Puniper, and Jabble, and some Punies floating in bubbles are blown away by Flurrie. The Puni elder comes behind Flurrie and startles her. [[Stewart]] takes a bow, followed by Jolene, Prince Mush, and a Glitz Pit security member walking onstage. [[Spiky Joe]], [[King K]], [[Bandy Andy]], Rawk Hawk, and [[the Iron Adonis Twins]] follow, and Hoggle chases the Yoshi egg across the stage which Yoshi Kid hatches out off and chases Hoggle off the stage. Grubba walks onstage between the [[Glitzville reporter]] and the Lakitu cameraman, and Grubba transforms into [[Macho Grubba]].

Four pigs walk onstage followed by Doopliss and five Boos. Doopliss turns into his Mario disguise and leaves with the Boos, after which the pigs transform into Mayor Dour, a male Twilighter, a female Twilighter, and a child Twilighter. The Three Shadows pop up in the center, with Vivian staying longer than Beldam and Marilyn. Flavio is carried onstage by four orange Toads, and is followed by Frankie, Francesca, Bobbery, Pa-Patch, and a crew Bob-omb. Six Embers appear around them and [[Whacka]] pops up on the left side of the stage, and Cortez drops down in his first battle form and scares Flavio away. Cortez then turns into a floating head and blows Bobbery off the stage.

Pennington slowly walks onstage accompanied by Chef Shimi, the Excess Express Waitress, Zip Toad, Toodles, Heff T. and the Businessman. Ghost T. follows them and scares them all off. As Ghost T. rises to a bright light, a horde of Smorgs bounce past. Bub runs onstage holding the [[Autograph]], followed by Goldbob and Sylvia. The Fahr Outpost Mayor walks onstage followed by lots of other Bob-ombs carrying a sleeping General White. As General White is put down and wakes up, the Bob-ombs explode and parachute in the foreground. 

An X-Naut, X-Naut PhD, and Elite X-Naut walk onstage, and run off as Lord Crump rides an X-Naut platoon in a ball formation. Crump and four X-Nauts land in the center of the stage and Grodus strikes them with lightning. Bowser falls on top of Grodus with Kammy Koopa accompanying him. Grodus is then decapitated by the Shadow Queen, who walks onstage in her Peach form and has her true form appear behind her. Mario stomps on the Shadow Queen, and Peach returns to her normal self.

The game's partners (with or without Ms. Mowz depending on if she was recruited), as well as Bowser and Kammy Koopa, then rise from the bottom and begin celebrating as confetti and streamers go off. When the camera pans out, [[TEC]] can be seen at the top of the curtain. The audience soon face the player and celebrate as well. Any emblems equipped are still in effect for Mario, but not for Doopliss’s Mario disguise, and Yoshi Kid retains whichever color he was in for the game.
