He mostly hangs around a gold [[Mushroom]] in the middle of the city with his mother, who is an orange female [[Pianta]] wearing glasses. He is also known to go down to the entrance when a catastrophe is happening (such as when one particular Pianta accidentally lets [[Chain Chomp|her pets]] loose). The Pianta mayor is shown to be reckless, such as holding on to [[Fluff (object)|floating fluff]]s during the Fluff Festival, but his bravery is shown at one point when he decided to stay behind to evacuate all the villagers during a [[Plurp]] attack on the village. The mayor also has a secret cash pile, which is located in the sun. If [[Mario]] sprays the cash pile with [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]] in [[Fluff Festival Coin Hunt|Episode 8]] of Pianta Village, he will earn a [[Shine Sprite]]. The Pianta mayor's wife, who is never seen, is also said to have a cash pile, as a female Pianta next to a tree with fruit mentions in [[Secret of the Village Underside|Episode 5]], and hers is located in the moon, which contains a [[Blue Coin|blue coin]].
