Sr.|father]], who went into the [[Pit of 100 Trials (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)|Pit of 100 Trials]] to earn some extra money but never came back out. After Mario saves Pine T. Jr.'s dad, he will award Mario a [[Silver Card]] for the Paper Game at the [[Pianta Parlor]].

Later, Pine T. Jr. sends an [[Mailbox SP#Pine T. Jr.: Dad's Job|email]] to Mario, in which he mentions that his father has found a new job taking care of [[Li'l Oink]]s (mistranslated as "Bubu" in the English GameCube version) in [[Toad Town]].
