Donut Plains 1 reappears as a classic course in Mario Kart Tour, debuting in the Hammer Bro Tour. It generally retains its Mario Kart DS layout; however, the walls within the course are thinner, and the barriers left of the bridge are absent. The bridge is also reverted to its original width. The gap in the wall after the second turn is shorter and moved right. The pipes are also gone, as in the Mario Kart: Super Circuit version of the course. The lake does not extend to the starting turn, and its two sides near the second U-turn are the same length. The brown hills in the background are also removed.

The course also appears as  Donut Plains 1R (reversed), Donut Plains 1T (with ramps), and Donut Plains 1R/T (reversed with ramps). The former two were introduced alongside the normal variant in the Hammer Bro Tour, while the latter was introduced in the 2020 Yoshi Tour. In the R/T variant, there is a glide ramp a bit before the bridge, as well as two Piranha Plants that make it more difficult to cut off the turn.

This course uses the original version of its music, despite it being arranged in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 8.
