First appearance | Wario: Master of Disguise (2007) |
A Scare-Oh! is an enemy in Wario: Master of Disguise. They are living statues that are created in the likeness of Poobah the Pharaoh, as implied by their in-game bio. Their bodies consist of a head supported by two limbs which they use to move around. Only six Scare-Oh!s are encountered throughout the game; two appear in the outside of the Smithsnorian Museum, two in Poobah the Pharaoh's Pyramid, and two in the Allergia Gardens.
Scare-Oh!s crawl from side to side, initially hanging upside-down from a ceiling. They shoot purple coin-like objects at Wario which damage him on contact. Once they sense Wario underneath them, they fall to the ground and continue their attack pattern. They occasionally grow spikes around them to prevent Wario from jumping on them. They can be defeated with any of Wario's attacks.
In-game description[edit]
"A statue of the king known for building the greatest empire the world has ever known deep in the burning desert. His wife was known for a big schnoz."
