A '''Shell Shock''' is an item in ''[[Super Paper Mario]]''. It rams into enemies when the [[player]] kicks the shell. Using one activates a minigame where the shell bounces around the screen, and the player must press A while hovering over it with a crosshair. If the player succeeds, the shell grows to almost three times it's original size, but if the player fails, it stays small.

To use this item, the player must aim the [[Wii]] remote at the shell and press A to supersize it. If the player misses, the shell will remain small during the attack. 

If the player gives this item to [[Saffron]] to cook, she will make a [[Courage Shell]].
