Flower Ball is the name of the Special Ball that Daisy uses in Mario Superstar Baseball. While pitching, Daisy throws the ball with many scattered flowers on it. This disguises the ball and may confuse the batter.
If Daisy is batting, she hits the ball with scattered flowers surrounding it. This, again, may confuse the opponents on where the ball is. Once the ball is close to the ground, the flowers dissipate and the ball may hit the ground, uncovered, if the fielder does not catch it.
Mario Super Sluggers
This Star Pitch does return in Mario Super Sluggers, but with different effects. If a batter hits the baseball while it is under the effects of this Star Pitch, it won't go very far, making it completely possible to get the batter out. It can be countered by Star Swings though.
