Since I'm Chinese, I know all those kanji in the Japanese language, and therefore I sometimes watch videos on niconico (and come here to add Japanese names to those foreign language boxes).

I am a Mario fan from China. My favorite game is Paper Mario, but now I play other games from the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series. I'm active in Chinese Mario forums so I haven't joined any English boards except I have an account here to develop an English-language Mario encyclopedia. My email is 2500418497@qq.com.

My current practice of adding Japanese names

  • If possible, always add a source for verifiability's sake.
  • If Nintendo does provide a pronunciation for the kanji, embed it in the Japanese name and romanize accordingly:
