Snow Go is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9. The name is a pun on the phrase "no-go," which means something failed. The main objective of the minigame is similar to that of Slot Car Derby from Mario Party and Mario Party 2, Water Whirled from Mario Party 3, Later Skater from Mario Party 5, Kart Wheeled from Mario Party 7, and Kartastrophe from Mario Party 8. The concept of avoiding snowballs that Mr. Blizzards throw at players was also used in the Mario Party 4 minigame Mr. Blizzard's Brigade.

Gameplay

Players try to be the first to complete five laps around the track in their snowmobiles. About every 4.5 seconds, two Mr. Blizzards in the middle of the course throw snowballs that will freeze any player they hit. A frozen player must shake Wii Remote to escape. About halfway around the track, there is very thick snow that will slow down any player that goes through it. Players can avoid this section by taking the dash ramp. The minigame ends after one player completes five laps.

In Time Attack, the player must complete ten laps in the snowmobile. The bonus objective can be accomplished by using the dash ramp on every lap.
