'''Superstar Road''' is the ninth and final world of ''[[New Super Mario Bros. U]]'', ''[[New Super Luigi U]]'', and ''[[New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe]]''. It is similar to [[World 9 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)|World 9]] from ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]''. Superstar Road is similar to [[Star World]] from ''[[Super Mario World]]'', and its name is the same as that of the [[Star Road (Super Mario World)|Star Road]]-esque portal used to access it. The portal is on an island in the borders of [[Layer-Cake Desert]], [[Sparkling Waters]], [[Frosted Glacier]] and [[Soda Jungle]], and can only be accessed via a pipe after completing the game. This is the only world where two of the power-ups from ''New Super Mario Bros. Wii'', [[Propeller Mushroom]]s and [[Penguin Suit]]s, can be found. There are a total of nine levels in this world, eight of which are only accessible by collecting all the [[Star Coin]]s from each world while the last one can be unlocked by completing all other Superstar Road levels with three Star Coins collected. Like [[Rock-Candy Mines]] and [[Peach's Castle (world)|Peach's Castle]], there are no [[Enemy Course]]s. No level in this world has a checkpoint.
