| :I already mentioned why in the [[Special:Diff/2702288|edit summary]], but to elaborate: it's precisely because Kongs are more of a loose "collection" of species than an actual defined one, and especially earlier on, it was pretty inconsistent on what species each of them are actually supposed to be (e.g. Diddy has been called a "chimpanzee" despite having a tail and having other traits closer to a spider monkey). | Okay fine, I guess [[Kong|Kongs]] don't really have set species, but they can have traits of other primates, Family: [[Kong|Kongidae]], or [[Kong|Primatus Kongicus]], or something.
