:::::Well, we do have an article on a common named stage element, the Boost Pad and Ramp, so an article for the pillars make sense. There isn't a rule against creating multiple proposals. I've done it before, just to reassure you. I don't think this even needs a proposal; you can go right ahead and create the article. 01:46, 2 February 2016 (EST)

::::::The Prima official game guide does name these objects Spin Boost Pillars, and I do own the book. Possibly pointless to say the former, I hope to find this helpful for fellow contributors.296lmn20 (talk) 15:26, 10 July 2017 (EDT)296lmn20

Confirming that Prima does have "Spin Boost Pillar" as a name. My Nintendo had some basic guides, not the full ones, but Spin Boost Pillar is there. Old conversation, but I'm for this split. 16:21, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
:I say split it, it's along the same lines as Antigravity Panel and Glide Ramp which have now been split, so I think this warrants one. And seeing as you have those ones that need lighting up to activate the jump past the sword in Hyrule Circuit, and the fact that they were specifically added in Koopa City, they seem to be distinct and, at least in that course, have a unique function.BBQ Turtle
::I'd support splitting it, as it would be consistent with other similar articles we have. -- 17:00, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
:::An object is not a move. Per. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:23, 2 May 2018 (EDT)
::::I'll make the split here soon. 10:09, 3 May 2018 (EDT)
