Name[edit]

If I understand the trivia section of this article correctly, "Boss Wiggler" is a translation of this character's Japanese name. That would make the article title be neither an official English name (since the article states it is just called Wiggler) nor an official Japanese name (since it was translated instead of just romanised). If the name "Boss Wiggler" is never actually used in this form, shouldn't this be moved to something like Wiggler (Super Mario Sunshine) or possibly Boss Hana-chan to use an official name?--vellidragon 17:15, 28 February 2010 (EST)

Since it was given an official english name, we should move it to Wiggler (Super Mario Sunshine). Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Fully agree, it should be moved to Wiggler (Super Mario Sunshine), just like how it was done for Garon. --Grandy02 09:58, 4 March 2010 (EST)

This is like the king Boo,in super Mario Sunshine he's called Boss Teresa in Japan and he has a different look in this game, but he's called King Boo in the USA.So we should move it to Wiggler.Dry Bones in Paper MarioCount Bonsula I need blood...Ml2 drybones.png

Wiggler now has a name[edit]

I have some options for wiggler's real name: 1) boss wiggler, 2) mega wiggler and 3) giant wiggler, so....what for you think? 94.9.174.199 10:19, July 13, 2024 (EDT)

"Wiggler" is the official name, so that's what we're calling it. Even if's the same name as the rest of the species, we do not use conjectural names over official names. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 10:24, July 13, 2024 (EDT)
