<< Directory of missions >>

Try to find me! is the seventh Trouble Center mission in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, initiated by Koopook. It is first available after clearing Chapter 1.

Mission[edit]

After taking on the trouble, Mario must travel to Hooktail Castle in Petal Meadows and use Koops to activate the green elevator block that lifts him up to the fifth floor. Just before the room where Mario had earlier encountered Ms. Mowz, he must drop down to a ledge below to find Koopook. When Mario talks to Koopook, the Koopa gives Mario a Special Card (that he found while traveling and hiding around the world but does not need) as a reward for finding him before leaving for another hiding place, and the trouble is solved. If Mario talks to Koopook with a partner other than Koops, he will automatically swap that partner with Koops so the two Koopas can discuss their past lives.

In-game description[edit]

  • "It's me, Koopook, the wandering hide-and-seek champion. I'm hiding somewhere in Hooktail Castle right now. Hiding like you read about! If you find me, I'll give you something good. Think you can do it? Reeeeeeally?" (GCN)
  • "It's me, Koopook, the wandering hide-and-seek champion. I'm hiding somewhere in Hooktail Castle right now. If you find me, I'll give you a Member's Card for Pianta Parlor. Think you can do it? Reeeeeeally?" (Switch)
