The backing instrument is played much more harshly in comparison to the original. When [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] are in their [[Raccoon Mario|Raccoon/Fox forms]], a woodblock beat will play in the theme, much like other courses in the game. Likewise, touching a [[Gold Ring]] will add a bell synth arpeggiator on the theme.
