So thank you for providing me with the video and your aside. There was a similar problem with the Spear and the Mach Bike in this game. The ingame acceleration stat showed the two to be identical to each other, but in game, it showed that the Mach Bike accelerated faster. Having said that, I don't think it is worthy to pit the two vehicles to each other. I played the game yesterday and showed the Sugarscoot to be more of a match to the Classic Dragster since the acceleration is almost identical and weight is closely similar.24.47.220.3

:No problem, I'm glad we finally could understand each other. Indeed, the stats shown by the game in the bars are a way devised by the developers to summarize multiple underlying statistics and even some behaviors such as the inside drifting mechanics, as such they sometimes don't reflect the actual in-game performance well.--Mister Wu (talk) 19:56, March 30, 2020 (EDT)

No but you still don't understand what I'm saying.24.47.220.3

:Now I see. As I was telling before, five acceleration stats are used in this game for the acceleration in astraight line, in the columns from J to N. The one in column N is apparently the most influential: the change from 0.2 to 0.65 yields big changes in the acceleration. The other four ones on the other hand seems to be used to fine tune the acceleration and are relative to specific points of the whole acceleration curve. Since the E-value in column N is identical for both the Spear (row 33) and the Mach Bike (row 23), the differences in acceleration all stem from these four values. In particular, the one in column J is used at the beginning. You can see that the Spear has a value of 0.172, much lower than that of the Mach Bike (which has 0.65056), resulting in the Spear starting slower at the beginning than the Mach Bike. Then, as a certain relative speed is reached, the value in column K is used. There, since the Spear has a higher value than the Mach bike (0.438 versus 0.2936), you'll see the Spear regaining ground and even passing the Mach bike, until they'll reach a similar acceleration (the values in columns L and M are used). I recorded another video showing this phenomenon as well, it's very interesting to see the contribution of these fine-tuning paramters.--Mister Wu (talk) 21:49, March 31, 2020 (EDT)

Okay then. Thank you for your help.
