Luigi can access the basement of the mansion by using the vacuum on the [[Poltergust 5000]] the hidden red ball in the well which is revealed by using the [[Dark Light]]. The Veranda starts off with a large white gate, which Luigi has to go through to advance, but the player now must guide Luigi on a dangerous concrete rafter to get to the entrance. After the player does so, Luigi can advance on. | |||
The Veranda has no main part after D-1 as the gate past is unable to be visited again because the rafter is broken. | |||
