==Layout==
This level takes place in a maze of pipes, making it similar to [[Pipe Land]] from ''[[Super Mario Bros. 3]]''. It contains one-way flippers from ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]'', pipes that launch Mario and a few [[Gold Ring]]s to grab many coins from golden enemies. At the end of the stage is the [[Goal Pole]], which is set past four [[Piranha Plant]]-infested pipes that can be used to grab the tip of the pole.

Completing this level allows Mario to unlock a red [[Toad House]] and access {{world-link|1|castle|World 1-Castle (New Super Mario Bros. 2)}}, skipping [[World 1-5 (New Super Mario Bros. 2)|World 1-5]].
