Munchers are spider enemies that appear in the Wii game, Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are relatives to another species of spiders, Skittlers. Munchers are black spiders that appear in large groups. Their only appearance is the Forest level, Muncher Marathon. In this level, they chase Donkey and Diddy Kong after they break open their eggs. They won't stop pursuing them until end of the level. When moving towards the Kongs, a spider noise can be heard. If the Kongs make contact with these arachnids, they will be devour and lose a life. Munchers are indestructible, meaning there is no way to defeat them.
