Wario Land II

Flying Fish are encountered as enemies during the events of Wario Land II. Wario first encounters them in his castle after the Black Sugar Gang has flooded his entire home. Whenever they appear, they usually jump out of the water and collide with Wario, bouncing him backwards. This can sometimes cause the treasure hunter to lose his footing and fall into the water. Despite this, though, Flying Fish are less of a menace, since they cannot harm Wario in any way.
