Where's a source for the Bob-omb buddies being afraid of him because of his white mustache? When defeated, Big Bob-omb explodes, leaving behind the Star. And yet (in the DS remake) he returns, whole and unharmed. Since he mentions having ''returned'', we can rule out the possibility that the second king was an impostor (unless, of course, the ''first'' Big Bob-omb was the impostor).
