| *'''Bowser Party''' : Now it's your turn to ruin the fun! Mario and his friends have made another Mario Party, and Bowser hasn't been invited, as usual. Play as Bowser! Unlike in previous Mario Party games, you are in Bowser's role ; you have to put traps on the board to steal everyone's Stars and Coins! But watch out for ? Spaces, other characters' traps, or your own traps, as it'd give back the characters a bit of what you stole them! After each turn, the four characters on the board will do a mini-game, and you'll have to ruin the fun by making them all lose! This is what you do in Bowser Mode. In Classic Mode, you can also just play the game normally, as one of your favorite Mario character. And, in both modes, you can play with up to three friends! After completing all available boards on both modes, you'll be given access to the Story Mode, where a mysterious person started the Party Tournament, with an unknown treasure for the winner! You are Bowser, so you want everything for yourself! So, are you ready to ruin everyone's life? May the party NOT start!

An enemy is about to touch you? Freeze him! A wall seems to be breakable? Use the Whirluigi to drill through it! Protect yourself or attack from far by using Waluigi's vines powers! But, hey, actually, everybody cheats but him.
