::* The official guide from Prima isn't always accurate with the names. Like there was one time in their Super Mario Sunshine guide where they called Cataquacks "Piranhas", if I remember correctly. If there was ever an official name for Bowser with the Super Bell power up, it would be more likely to be 'Cat Bowser' or something like that, like how it's named for Cat Mario, Cat Luigi, Cat Peach or Cat Toad. —Platinum Lucario (talk) 06:33, 6 December 2013 (EST)

Theoretically, the Double Meowser portion has more than five Meowsers.  Watch GameXPlain's final boss video, and you can see one of the Meowsers that is to become an edgeguarder in the POW block portion actually climb past a shell-and-tail Meowser.  I think there's an indeterminate number that's greater than five.  The four edgeguarders, the one on the POW Block (which I've already taken to thinking of as the "real" Meowser), and an unknown number still in the tower.  Rot8er ConeX (talk) 22:21, 4 December 2013 (EST)

Is there any proof that his name is Meowser? Bro Hammer (TalkCont) 09:18, 28 November 2013 (EST)

 • The official guide from Prima refers to him as such. Nintendo's been letting them do the official guides for a while now, so I think it's the closest we've got to an actual source.
